I am currently on 'summer break' between roles, moving from a Senior Data Scientist at Shelf Engine (a startup in Seattle) to a Staff Data Scientist at Seagate Technologies.

Before that, I was at ExxonMobil doing a ton of different, hard, cool problems spanning NLP, CV, time series, and various 'stitch-it-together-with-duct-tape' automation- or analysis-based problems, just to try to help experts in the business lines.

Formerly, I was a postdoctoral fellow in Patrick Heimbach's group at the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences (ICES) at the University of Texas.

Before that, I was a graduate student working with Luc Lavier and Ginny Catania at the Institute for Geophysics, also at Texas. I defended in late October 2015 (here is the dissertation, thanks for reading it Mom!).
