At a glance

Hi, thanks for visiting my website! This picture is from a trip to Patagonia (2010) when I was a graduate student at UT Austin.
Back then I studied how ice fractured, and followed on with a postdoctoral stint that aimed at adjoint modeling (read: deep learning) for state estimation in ice.

Then I went to ExxonMobil (thinking I could "do more" from the inside than out for climate change) for 3 years, followed by 6 months at a startup called Shelf Engine whose noble goal is to reduce food waste with AI (their recent history) which was a really fantastic experience, and where I met some really lovely people.

Now I'm excited for the next adventure, Seagate Technologies (starting in September 2022, it's like back to school! 🎒 🍎). I'm so excited.

This purports to be a 'science' page, but it's mostly a snapshot of things I did while in academia. As for machine learning / science interests now, I don't share out a public git because I'm a working mom and pour all my creative and scientific efforts into proprietary projects. When I'm cooking up something for sharing, it's usually just on the stovetop for my wife and toddler, who thinks ketchup is a food group.

Of course, all ‘views’ here are my own (unless they are otherwise noted).

All these images are my own unless otherwise noted. Also, proceed with caution! Website under construction.
